October Birthday Extravaganza!

I don't have many photos this year, as most were taken by my husband (thank you, dear!) while I was keeping the party going and all the kiddos entertained. We had a Big Hero 6 themed party, encouraging party-goers to celebrate heroes, real or imagined. It was so fun to see what they came up with and the variety of responses. If you haven't seen the movie, I recommend it.

The kids made signs from a "health care companion" and decorated with balloons and pumpkins we painted with hero logos and faces. We decorated the cake with a set of figures from the movie and served gluten free crisp as well.

The children received some lovely gifts, including Panther football gear for my 14 year old son (wait, what? How did he get to be so old!?!) and art supplies and a tea set for my 12 year old daughter (oh, dear, this mama is feeling old!). We had a lovely celebration of their lives with lots of family and friends, fun and laughter.
