...in a rather unique, twenty-first century way.
I have long since wanted to share some of what I know and have learned over my extensive life (hehe) and thought little books would be the most effective way to do so. But as this process has progressed, I'm not so sure.
1. I have a lot to say, but often less is more and I don't think I have a whole books worth of important things to say. Plus, while I enjoy writing, I am not very good at it, and the stress of composing my thoughts into a work worthy of money is very intimidating to me.
2. Watching my father-in-law publish two books has taught me a lot about the process (and expense), and I'm not sure that would be a very cost effective way of communicating my thoughts with my rather small target audience.
Enter the blog! This venue, in journal format, allows me to share my thoughts in pieces and simply get them out there, at no cost to me. I can archive these thoughts for my children/grandchildren and still make them available to family and friends (and their family and friends). I can experiment with my writing and thoughts and fine tune them through this process.
I am excited to see where all I take my blog this year, but I want to explore many topics of interest and importance to me, such as worship, dance, ministry, education, just to name a few. Thank you for joining me on this journey!
