The Making of CCA part 7

Chapter 7: Refinance

Financing on contract was not a long term solution, but with baby #2 on the way, the pressure to refinance our home was becoming a real stress. We worked non-stop that summer finishing details, arranging the appraisal and finding a bank to work with. I love the look of oak, so we trimmed all the doors, windows and support beams with oak stained plywood.

Ben built me this beautiful cabinet in the dining room. I have loved changing it up over the years with photos, candles, tea cups and figurines. It only has three shelves to keep little fingers from damaging anything. I hope to add to it once the kiddos are older.

You can see one of the support beams in this shot of the living room. I think they are not only necessary for the structure but add a lot to the look and feel of the decor.

The outside from the north. Front door, garage door and living room windows.
