After choosing to spend our vacation on family time and not theme parks, we made a list of some of the unique things we could do for little money. The aquarium where "Winter" (the dolphin from Winter's Tale) is housed was our bad weather back up plan. But the weather was gorgeous all week, so we voted for the dolphin cruise at John's Pass. We learned about their feeding, hunting, survival and babies. We saw a single male (who repeatedly through a stick at the boat) and a mama and her little one. Seeing these wild animals in their habitat was beautiful and educational.
My oldest son and I took an afternoon with Grandpa to see the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay where the Buccaneers play. He took several photos from all sides, but these are two of my favorites.
